So with 14kts on the beach I thought that my new Lightning 9.4 might be too big (the joy of leaving the trailer in my garage and taking a selection on the roofrack) but proved just right for a spot of longboard cruising :) I started with a trip to the Isle of wight then a beat up the Beaulieu River seeing hundreds of big mullet !!! and following in the wake of a big motor cruiser!!! Then back to the van for tea and cake followed by some mega reaches to visit the windsurfing shop at Calshot including a 3 mile reach past Cowes !!!! It's just great to be out in the Solent again in and out of the yachts and all in glorious sunshine.Then Rob joins us for dinner :)
